The Wisdom Of Christ In Action

July 5, 2011

To put it bluntly, when you depend on God’s wisdom to succeed today, you will see whatever you do prosper.  Before I get into my point, look at Jesus ministry on work.  He did not use earthly wisdom, he used Heavenly wisdom.  When the Pharisees tried to trap him with the woman caught in adultery, he answered in a way they did not expect.  He answered perfectly and upheld the law and grace all at the same time.  His response was perfect because His wisdom is perfect.  His was response was simply, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”

This same Jesus, with all His wisdom, is today our ascended Christ, who is seated at the Father’s right hand, and whom the Bible says is “made unto us wisdom!”  Jesus is never late or never early, His timing and wisdom are perfect.  He was gentle and gracious when He needed to be and bold when He needed to be and did so with passion.  His reasoning and wisdom were perfect all the time.  He is steel and velvet, meekness and majesty, perfect manhood and deity.  This is Jesus and you are in Him!  Begin to see yourself in Christ, who is always flowing with divine wisdom, always in control of the situation, and the same wisdom that flows in Him will flow in and through you.

When you trust in the Lord to be in your fitness and health then your ways are perfect.  You never struggle with knowing what to do because He leads your steps.  If you rely on yourself then you rely on your wisdom and if you take counsel in people then you rely on earthly wisdom.  Both are flawed.  However if you get ideas from people and rely on the heavenly wisdom from Jesus that is freely available to you; you will succeed in everything you do.  You will never fail and always succeed.  If you rely on Jesus, His wisdom will flow through you and you will not make wrong choices.  Trust in Him today!

But of him ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:   —   1 Corinthians 1:30

Jesus, who is seated at the Father’s right hand, is “made unto us wisdom!”
